QUALITY KONTROL PROCESS

Chemical Analyse ( Spektrometer )
At United DC ALUMINUM, we attach great importance to a comprehensive quality control process to provide the highest quality products to our customers. All raw materials and alloy elements arriving at our factory are subjected to meticulous input quality control before starting the processing processes. Our ARL 8820 spectral analyzer works with high sensitivity and accuracy, helping to detect any deviations in the composition of alloys. In this way, it is possible to select the most suitable materials that will meet our quality standards during the production process and take the necessary measures to ensure quality. With the mentioned spectral analyzer, both input quality control and process control operations of our company are carried out.
Visiual Tests
Defects such as solid discharge, scratches and holes, porosity, dross and cracks are important factors that can affect the quality of the product. Therefore, during the visual inspection process, our expert staff examines the surfaces of the products in detail and with great care at various steps of the process and completes the process by scrapping the defective products it detects.
Ultrasonography
All the materials we produce are subjected to a detailed internal structure control with the DIO 1000 PA Ultrasonic Flaw Detector. During the process, cracks, gaps and other foreign materials that may occur in the material are detected by the reflection of ultrasound waves. Thus allows us to improve the quality of products and provide reliable products to our customers.
Micro Structure Test
Micro structure testing process allows detailed examination of the internal structural properties of materials. Samples are prepared carefully using our Metkon brand sample preparation devices. Then, the samples are etched in the electrolic etching device of Trimetalurji company and made suitable for microscope examination. Microscope examination is carried out with a Nikon ECLIPSE NV150N brand microscope and the internal structure of the material is analyzed using Clemex software. Through these analyses, various features in the microstructure of the material are examined:
• Grain size
• Porosity ratio
• Shell thickness
• Alpha-Beta phase conversion rate
• Homogeneous distribution of Magnesium Silicate and Titanium diborids

Our quality control process plays a critical role in determining the quality of our products and optimizing our production processes.
